Oakley Mp3 sunglasses

RE: Oakley Mp3 sunglasses
In my experience it's difficult to hear normal earbuds over the noise of wind and exhaust when traveling on speed. If you do a search for MP3 and iPod threads, you will find that many of the members of this forum have gone to using higher quality earbuds. Personally, I have one of the new iPod shuffles with a set of Shure E2C earphones. The Shure's cut out that white noise from the wind comparable to what foam earplugs do. The Oakley's look interesting, but I'd be concerned about hearing them when at highway speeds.
Oakley Thump: $ 212 + taxes, 512 mb, 6 hours battery life
New iPod Shuffle: $79 + taxes, 1 gb, 12 hours battery life
Shure E2C Earphones: $ 100 + taxes
You would still need a pair of glasses if you go with the shuffle, but if you are looking at the Oakley Thump, I'm willing tobet you already own a pair of Oakleys that you ride with now.

I thought about the Oakleys but didn't think they would be good with a helmet on..kinda bulky and I prefer wearing my panoptix glasses. I sometimes ride with my mp3 player and the Shure E2C earbuds are great.
