It aint professional but here it is. You’ll get the idea.
The music is good anyway. Cut it to Bruce.

I have my first group ride with my local HOG chapter this weekend.
We are going from Augusta Maine to some place in New Hampshire.
I am going to try to shoot that. Should be cooler with a bunch of bikes.
Yea I know I should have posted this in the other section...I kinda like this section best..

RE: I strapped a camera on my helmet today.
I hope you used something like this:
http://www.helmetcamera.com/
Some tips:
1) try to get some sound of the engine.. It makes the video 1000 times better. To cut down on wind noise, use an old sock, put the mic in the sock somewhere near the back of the scoot, like on the back of the sissy bar.
And the mics are cheap. You can pick them up for $15 at any pharmacy in the electronics section..
Also, if you want to make the road look like it's going by faster, rather than mounting the camera to your helmet, mount it on the frame of the bike.. BUT MOUNT IT LOW.. So you can see the road on the bottome 1/3 of the camera..
You will be amazed how much better the video will turn out..
Great job though !!

You would laugh at the rig I made today.
I had my mini dv camera mounted on the front of my 1/2 helment.
Hardly pro.
I have to get some more rigging stuff to attach to the bike.
I love your advice and thank you.
I'm going to have to look into that camera you suggested.
Thanks....

It is a Sony DCR-PC109.
The quality looks even better before it gets compressed for the web.
Thanks...
