Default Different wave?

This probably sounds stupid, but it's something I can't figure out.

After years of riding Suzukis, etc, I told my story in the new members forums about trading in a c50 suzuki with 300 miles on it after 3 weeks of riding to take my beating on the trade in and get the fatboyI always knew I should be riding. (pic attched)

Central Florida has many bike events and Daytona is 1 hour away. I never really felt right going to one of these without a Harley dispite my friends with HD's saying it didn't matter as long as you were riding.

Also, hwy 50 is normally packed with bikers and I noticed the Harley riders rarely waved and other bikers did the hand to the side wave. I figured when I bought the Boulevard fatboy wannabe bike I would trick some Harley guys into at least a wave at 60 mph. No chance.

I started thinking HD riders just don't wave until I got my Fatboy and get sincer waves and questions about the bike often. is this the norm or was I dillusional before???

Plain old Jerks don't wave. Who cares what someone is riding if that stops someone from waving then they are an idiot.

Don't expect much more on the HD. Lately waving has decreased. I'll get waves maybe4 out of 10 times.
