Default Got my ACC helmet tonight...

All I have done is ride home from the Fedex place with it on. I am going to go for a ride this evening and will give a full report when I get back. It is extremely light. Erin told me it was going to take 5 weeks for the helmet, but I got it in a little less than two. I might have gotten a size too small, but I don't think so. We shall see. I am wearing it as I type. Thanks for the info on this HDForums...

This one came with a DOT sticker on it, and a label on the inside. Thanks again. Went to court for that ticket yesterday and got off as the officer did not show up.

That's great.
I remember when my grandmother got a foo0tball helme for christmas. I had all to do to thank her for it over the phone while wearing it.
Eating dinner that night was a bitch.

.........I'd like to now how that helmet is affected by the wind above 50, 60, 70.

I am considering the ACC
Some people have mentioned helmets pulling up on them.
I only ride with a novelty and I don;t notice this at all.

Wind does not seem to be a problem with my ACC non DOT helmet at any speed. I have the extended half helmet. I would stay away from helmets having any type of lip or visor as they will catch the wind easier.................BG

Sounds like me,the extended half helmet size Med/Large fits me perfectly as long as I use the thinnist foam liner and postion the liner so that its flush with the bottom edge of the helmet.Play around with the liner a little and you'll see what I mean.

ACC's sizing chart was right on the money,I measured at the upper limits of the size I ordered and the helmet's fit reflects that.

With the chin strap reasonably snug and the proper fit the wind at 60,70 mph etc shouldn't be a problem.
