I have the polo DOT and it is very lightweight and stays put in the wind. I had to have the straps moved forward 1/4 in. My advice is get the D-rings. Still think the helmet is overpriced.

I love the helmet, I hate the strap connector. There are better quick connectors on the market they could haven used.

I dont mind the ACC connector, once you adjust it, really dont need to adjust it again.. Pop it on ur head and click it together and you're set.

But if I ordered again I would ask for D rings because well I like D rings..

I also have the ACCDOT Polo helmet; I have over 12,000 miles wearing it,most of thatbetween 65 & 90mph and have had no problem with wind and never had to turn the helmet around back-wards, I never even thought of it.

Snug it down and just go. Far and away the best helmet on the road. (I mean on the head.)

After reading all the great reviews I just called and ordered mine. They said that it would be here Wedesday. I was expecting to have to wait several weeks but the lady told me they had just made an extra and it would ship today.

I stopped wearing my old half helmet for all the same reasons, too hot in summer, wind tries to pull it off at speed. Then I read these posts about how great the ACC's were. So just for fun I checked the address. Turns out I live 30 mins north of the company (Orlando). I went down there that day, ordered a DOT flat black, with D rings. They said it would take 3-4 weeks, it came delivered in 2 weeks. Erin was great. Everything they say is true but the D rings are real small & take a little getting used to.

yuck . . 1/2 helmets offer barely any protection . . . I hope you guys don't have to test these out!

They are nice looking, but I wouldn't trust my noggin to one.
