Just got off the phone with Erin and spoke about the ones that are left there. I am riding a EG, and I am thinking about the Polo style.....how do you guys think the wind will effect my head during the ride, if at all??

i was wondering about sizing. i have tried several XLs that are two tight for my 7 3/8 head. i have an XL NXT that fits good and is great in the wind but i still want an ACC. concerning polo style, many riders i know that have them wear them backwards.

The polo helemts usually get wind under the lip and can have some drag, but if you are going to be riding athigh speed you can turn it around backwards. I had a polo helemt before and I always wore it backwards, but then again I am a backwards type of guy.

My head is slightly bigger.. 23 3/4th which is between 7 1/2 and 7 3/8th and I have the large, fits just fine and I can even wear a ball cap under, and use the standard sizeing pad inside, tho i can also use the large with out the ball cap.. or the thin if need.

Hope this helps... ya I do have an XL harley traspasser.. and my fullsized is XL.. but the ACC is in large (DOT)

I have the Black Candy DOT Polo style helmet. No need to wear it backwards or anything of the sort. Provided you get the proper fit, there won't be an issue with regard to the helmet 'catching air' and lifting. I've taken to the highway several times since getting the helmet, have cruised at 80 with no issues whatsoever. Merely my experience with the deal.

All I have done is ride home from the Fedex place with it on. I am going to go for a ride this evening and will give a full report when I get back. It is extremely light. Erin told me it was going to take 5 weeks for the helmet, but I got it in a little less than two. I might have gotten a size too small, but I don't think so. We shall see. I am wearing it as I type. Thanks for the info on this HDForums...
You guys are going to sell me on one if you dont stop.

Placed my order today based on your recommendation. Said it would take 3 to 4 weeks to arrive. Told them if that what it takes then thats what it takes. Thanks for the info. Oh, here is a picture for those that have not checked it out.
