Wife and I both sport BAL-1s. Never, ever going back to stock or even HD LED.

Custom Dynamics has a module that is plug $ play for the '14 and up with CAN bus. It'll let you configure the cycles, lengths and won't flash if the turn signal is on.

The flashes are nice, and are becoming more and more the standard on cars too. If someone follows you, and says it is annoying, well - mission accomplished... You've seen me!

I hope that helps.

Thank you

OP did say LED that flashed. If you have LED's and you modulated your brake pedal or lever it would flash.

Check out Custom Dynamics, they have a wide selection of LED's from front to rear.

Annoying is one thing. Confusing is another. I don't want the car behind me to be confused at all. I want him to know exactly what I am doing.

Yea but the big difference is you are releasing your brakes with each and every tap. With the BAL or similar, brakes stay applied while the lights flash. In an emergency stop do you really want to be releasing your brakes?

I've had my BAL save me twice at a light, while I was stopped. The first time a pickup was screeching up behind me, already in my escape route, he stopped so fast a second pickup rear ended him. And that's how they drive here. I have no pity on drivers who rush up on me, they're going to see the light. The air wing luggage rack on the Road Glide Ultra has an integrated LED brake light in it. BAL low, luggage rack high.
