Default Condor Chock - use it correctly

We and another couple were pulling toyhaulers with our bikes in the garages. We hit some nasty bit of road and had lots of bouncing. At a rest stop, my friend checked on his bike and found it was out of the Condor Chock and laying on its side. Turns out the fork tiedowns were more to the side (90* to bike's centerline) rather than towards the front of the bike. This allowed the bike to back out of the chock and tip over. Fortunately there was no damage done. No issues with my Limited in the same chock, which was properly tied down.

I have some old Harley tie downs. I ratchet strap the front wheel to the condor wheel stop along with 4 tie downs front and rear. I slid into a snow bank at highway speeds and the bike never moved.

I use 4 rachet straps (front 2 leading foward) and always secure my front wheel to the chock

A rear wheel chock would also help, to keep the bike from rolling backwards.

Not sure how you would do that.

Ratchet straps pulled forward, downward, and with wade anchor points is all that needs to be done.

Your title is a little misleading.

The Condor has nothing to do with how to properly secure a bike when in a wheel chock.

I've never have had a problem with my Condor but then again I educated myself on how to transport a motorcycle.

You know, a wedge to put behind the rear wheel like when you change a front tire on a car.

Also make sure the chock is bolted to the floor, or use their mounting plate.
Improper strapping, and lack of the mounting plate put my RK on it's side.
Even though the front tire was strapped tightly to the chock, the whole thing
fell over , chock and all.

You don't need to chalk the back.. doesn't do anything..
The front straps pull it fwd already.
in back, Just strap it on right and left for side to side...
