Default One Hell of an Amen

As many of you know I started a thread last week about my best friend and MSF instructor being killed while riding his 2011 CVO RG. The funeral was this past Tuesday and there a county and state police motorcycle escort, patriot guard riders, around 60-80 motorcycles and several cars in the procession. He was a retired Marine and was laid to rest at Crownsville Veteran Cemetery. Marines were there and played taps.

I was the first bike in the motorcycle procession behind the family limo and I got one final ride with my best friend. He was definitely smiling down on us as this was One Hell of an Amen to go out. He even got to go out riding in style in the Harley hearse.

People were pulling over and putting hand over heart or saluting as we rode by. The procession was very impressive and the motorcycle cops were awesome the way they handled traffic and each intersection.

R.I.P. my brother! You will be missed!
