I went to the local home improvement store (Menards) to pick up some floor tiles to create a parking pad for my Heritage.

9 hours later I think the pad got out of hand

 

So what do you park in the Nascar spot?

 

Looks good but cleaning the grit that falls below the tiles might be difficult.

That's TERRIBLE- you should probably pull at least half of that up and send the tiles to me for safekeeping. Of course I'd have to use them in the workshop to, you know, make sure they continue to work properly... and that would require me to build a workshop.

That's a clean garage. You deserve to have a nice floor. Looks great.

 

Actually according to the manufacture all I have to do is rinse down the area with the hose and it flows underneath and out the door.

I suspect though that come Spring I'll be pulling the grid tiles up and cleaning the floor but that probably will take only a couple of hours since they only snap in place.

I know, I installed it more than one hence the 9 hour install time

 

It's clean because I had to pull everything out to put the floor down, however I try to keep it picked up.

I used to park the bike back there but then I took a job position that allows me to work out of my home and my company gave me a one time "office expense" so I built an office in the back spot.

Behind the frig is my enclosed home office that's heated and AC'd.

My company car stays out in the driveway, but Momma's Chrysler gets to park inside.

 

I just put one of those gas wall heaters in my garage last winter, keeps it toasty out there. I have full carpet in mine, nice for going barefoot in the warm months. I too have a full size refridgerator (for overflow food )
