Touring with a Softtail or dyna for my wife, is one better than the other?

I have learned to let the wife pick her own bike, guns, etc. as it save you money in the long run.
Mine started on a Dyna with windshield and bags plus a quality touring seat and did many miles over the 2 years she road it. She then rode a Heritage and fell in love as it was larger and more stretched out feeling plus had a lower balance point which made her feel more planted to the rode. She has 19K miles on the 12 Heritage and still loves it. Easy to tour on as we do many 400-500 mile days. She looked at and rode a RK and liked it but not enough to displace the Heritage. The RK does have some pluses; Cruise, better touring seat options, and windshield options.
It all boils down to what she likes and then making it comfortable and a good fit for her.
