Stunning HD 2000 Softail FLSTC
I am a new to the forum and have yet to find the right HD for me.
I think I have narrowed down the styling I like and am now actively looking.
There is a stunning 2000 softail listed on ebay. I love thelook and the color scheme.
I am not sure if this is a no no to post ebay item number butI really would like some opinions on this bike as well as the "theft recovery" salvage title that it has.
Should I stay away? What would be a good price for this? If I don't go for this one would I find something just as nice a little further down the road to owning one?
Ebay item # 220106513349
Any opinions would be appreciated...
thanks
Fred

thanks for the feedback.
Would I have a hard time finding a similar looking custom bike?any guesses on what I would expect to pay for somethingsimilar?

It is not a Harley, note the make is listed as "Special Construction" and the speedometer/odometer is not the digital odometer as an 2000HD would have had. Fair warning.

Pass .....
Too many possible issues with a rebuilt custom Harley. Not sure about CA but in FL I believe a salvage title means that the rebuild costexceeded 50% of the book value of the bike. A salvage title is typically issued here if a dealer does the work.
Pretty rare color combination and a real looker though.
You should be able to find a comparable late model Heritage for under $15K. Found my '97 last year through a private seller. 9500 miles/$9,000.00. Just have to keep looking.
