Harley's Hold Their Value? I don't think so.

While I will agree that the older the HD is, the more likey it will hold some value, surely this would depend on mileage and condition?......A 10 year old bike ridden daily with 150k miles on may be difficult to sell compared to a garage queen that may only have 10k miles.

I think at one time, Harley's held their value. That was in the days, where you would wait up to 2 yrs to get a new bike.In those days dealerships didn't have the showroom stock like they have now. It was difficult tofind the bike you wanted with the extras.Since they started mass producing them, they'veflooded the market.
Here in Ontario, we pay two taxes. Provinical sales tax and GST. When you sell, you can't recouperate the taxes at all. When you buy something privately, you only pay the PST (when you register it),and not the GST. Cause for a bit of the reduction.
