Honda vs Harley

RE: Honda vs Harley
I have had both and really love my Harley. But a Honda as a starter/ refresher bike is ok. Honestly, now that I have ridden a Harley I will not go back.
No matter what though, as long as you are riding on 2 wheels most of us will wave.

Why do you think all the major motorcycle manufactures build a V-Twin look-a-like. They all want to be a Harley but everybody knows, You may look like Elvis, you may even sound a little like Elvis but everybody know you ain't Elvis.

a 1974 HD, with 220,000 miles on it
send a pic of a Honda with even half that many miles on it!

RE: Honda vs Harley
I picked my Deluxe primarily because it was the most beautiful bike I had ever laid eyes on, but there were other mitigating factors. My dad has always ridden H-Ds. Most of the H-D riders I have known personally are good, hard working people just looking to enjoy riding. It's not a huge adrenaline thing, so much as it is a roll out, have fun, enjoy life thing. I could go on and on, but if you're seriously thinking about a Harley, buy one, otherwise you'll be in a situation like others have described, where you're wishing you had.
