Just got back from the thrill of a lifetime! I did 10 laps at Atlanta Speedway today with Dale Jarrett Racing. WOW! what a rush! My ears are still ringing. It really gives you a new perspective on what the drivers do. Man!, I could do that for a living. Got a little to close to turn one wall on my first lap and the in car instructor had to give me a little help turning into the "groove". After that, I was OK. You really have to drive it into the turns and let it drift up a little. WHEW! everyone needs to try this once.

 

I did the Richard Petty 30 lap deal a few years ago. I know what you mean, it was a total thrill and still remains one of the best memories of my life.

 

Dale's my boy. Not sure what's happening to him this year.

 

I've done the monster mile at Dover De. twice. Just about the most fun you can have with your pants on.

Exactly... too bad cuz Dale is a great guy... I did the Petty thing in Vegas back in 2002... if anybody gets a chance...Do it!!

 

Same here RP in Vegas. Nothing like running a car like that on the big track.

 

I did the Jarrett thing at Talladega in March. 40 laps (10-20-10). That was a total rush! My wife did the 3 lap ride-along. We both have a whole new respect for those drivers.

 

Did that at Talladega a few years ago,great thrill.
