Default Ahhhh....give the carb some lovin' and the bike responds with a few more horses

Over time, I suppose too many times just "fiddlin" with the screws, a few drunken nights thinking you were tweaking it better, she just started coughing 'n sputtering back on the roll offs. So last night I pulled her out, cleaned, "Zero'd out" the screws back to their seats and then to default settings. A rip down the road to get her hot...then some little tweaks...a few runs up 'n down the street...some tweaks....I think she found another 10 horses!

My accel pump screw was waaaaay out....when I spun her down to snug I was shocked at "How the F did she get past 4 turns out?!" Guess the accumulation of tons of times of trying a tweak or listening to someone else tell you to "back her out another 1/2 turn"...

Moral of the story...every now 'n then spend a minute or two, and zero it out to stock.....

On another note, looks like summer weather is finally settling in up north here....forecast all 80's for the next week!

You running an S&S ? If so the springs on the adjustment screws on tend to weaken and the screws will move a bit over time , been known to use a dot of purple loctite on known " walkers " as I call them.

LMAO! Well, you start with two fingers....wet 'em in your mouth first, and then rub starting in small circles....although my favorite is the jar of coconut oil she has on the nightstand...
