125 mile round trip for lunch.

 

Went out for a quick 200 mile ride and left about 620am.
Lived in Houston since 1990.
I don't remember it being this wet in the month or May or this cool in the mornings in June.


But the afternoons and evening make up for it in heat!


Currently its 92 w/ feels like of 94. Humidity is low so its not so bad in the shade.

 

I haven't done the "Kank" in a long time. (kangamangus for the uninitiated) My last time was on an ironhead sportster in the fall. I remember feeling the bike run a bit different up there. Went for a ride with a friend today. 65mi. or so. My first significant ride with new cams and pipes. The bike is running nice. I'm happy. Lots of bikes out today.

 

Great about 200 miles, temperature in the eighties, wife visiting her mother, except for the traffic coming back into town it was a really relaxing ride.

 

Wanted to do a 100 miles today, but the gas station pumps weren't working. so I took off and noticed the rain coming back in. It's been raining for over a week and half here...so ok Lord I'll take that as a sign and went back to the house...bummed out of course.

 

I do not know yet. I have to wait to get off of work. that's around 2230 central time

 

165 miles today. It was a perfect day for riding. I managed to hit Lancaster county too. It was one of those days you just want to keep going.

 

I know what you mean. I pulled into the drive way and wanted to head right back out. I had some things I had to take care of, so home I stayed.

 

Spent the day practicing for my motorcycle endorsment on the XT225 at the SC DMV. Have never passed on my Sporty so I think I got it this time.

 

Today is my Monday so I put in a 70 mile round trip to work. I like riding in on the weekends as the roads are mostly clear, but Monday to Thursday suck with all the traffic, road construction and **** roads.
