Well, if you add one word to your title of this thread (tinted motorcycle license plate cover) and google it, you'll get plenty of options.

That said, tinted license plate covers are illegal in most states.

 

Tinted, like making it difficult to see? Why do you need/want a cover over it? The clear ones, that end up getting cloudy, are against the law in Texas.

 

As suggested...it gives cops a legit reason to stop you.

 

I did Google it I didn't get any real options there is one from fbi but there are no reviews on there site maybe I'll just order it and roll the dice and I didn't ask if it was against the law

They come in clear, blue tint or smoke tint.

Second, my experience with them:

I live in New York State and have been stopped by LEO's 3 times due to the smoke tint. The first two were warnings and the 3rd time was a $65 ticket. One of the LEO's told me that all tag covers are illegal in NYS even the clear ones. Also, in NY licence plate frames cannot cover the state name or registration sticker.

I know you did not ask if they were against the law or not but a $65 ticket because of a $7 part just isn't worth it to me.
