I got these bags two weeks ago at a dealer parking lot sale. They were a nasty maroon with gold pinstripes.

So, I took em to a local paint guy and I asked him to match the vivid black. He does all sorts of hot rods and other custom paint schemes and I figured he was gonna charge me up the ace, but he said a 150 for the bags and guarantees no fade. I just had to assemble the bags together, but it was no biggy.


I have about 350 in the bags so far. I need some locks.

What a really great deal! I bought mine color-matched on eBay and was thrilled to get them for $750 - sounds like you did really well, and they sure look great on your bike! I suppose you already know that your dealer can get locksets for you that are matched to the key that came with your bike. Takes a week to ten days to get them.
