Took a Motorcycle Safety Class Today.

Took a Motorcycle Safety Class Today.
It was a rainy day and I knew of this MC safety class going on so I went.
I have been riding a mix of bikes for the past 12 years and I have to say there were some good pointers that I learned.
If anything, it just gave me more RESPECT for cars, pavement, intersections, and people and on and on and on.
You just can't be paranoid enough when riding....
Be safe...

Sounds like a good deal. It never hurts to learn some extra pointers when dealing with cagers. Enjoy the ride

Motorcycle class... GOOD!!! Pavement... BAD!!! Especially when your head heading straight for it.

Smart! Taking a safety course is the best course! I have ben riding since my college days (many moons ago) but when I took a safety course, I learned things I had never thought of. And recently I purchased a video of Jerry "Motorman" Palladino called "Ride like a Pro III." Great video which helps even more <www.ridelikeapro.com>
Anyway, good move!

I never took the course but I agree that you can't be careful enough. Don't be afraid to toot and flash your brights at cages waiting to pull out in front of you, and slow down when you see a potentially dangerous situation. Don't worry about the jerks behind you. Do what you have to do to stay healthy. Most cages understand but if they don't and get angry, screwem! It's a matter of life and death for us.
