As you can see there's paint on there which rubbed right off with freeking alcohol!<br/>

Well I sent a pic and a letter to the mo co. We'll see what they have to say or IF they even respond.

Exactly what I want to do but just to touch up this area. Which is why I need to know exactly what paint they used when this was produced.

Possibly flat black rustoleum. I think the camp black is better. Might be close?

I would check out the automotive touchup/trim paint stuff they sell at various large chain stores. It looks an awful lot the plastic trim paint I use on my truck, which is krylon fusion black. Wally world should have something that matches.
