Rider pegs on SGS

Rider pegs on SGS
Bike is a stock 15 SGS.
As we do longer and longer rides now that summer is coming I sometimes think it would be nice to stretch out the legs once the cruise is on for long stretches.
But where would pegs fit on an SGS? Can't have them low down on the crash bars as the brake pedal / gear shift would be in the way. Too high and then surely it's not going to be comfortable?
Anyone else out there with SGS with pegs?
Thanks in advance

Dont have an SGS but on my ultra classic I have mine set so my heel can sit on the floor board and the front of my foot on the peg. I can still stretch my legs out fine. I'm not real tall so it works for me probably wouldn't work so well for a taller person. With my heel on the floor board and the front of my foot on the peg it gives the feeling of forward controls. As far as your brake pedal and shifter your highway pegs should set off to the side far enough so that it isn't an issue. You can kind of see it in my signature picture

Not too relevant to your question but something else to think about. Have a black Lindby engine guard going on my Road King and bought black highway pegs and matching mounts. As I also have Cyclesmiths 21" banana boards going on not so sure I want to put the pegs on, at least not right away. Want to see how much more comfort I get out of just the boards.

You can mount them pretty much anywhere that feels comfortable on the highway bars. They are wide enough there is no interference with the brake pedal or shifter.
I also have mine so I can have my heels on the boards and toes on the pegs if i wish. They are also close enough I can kick my heels up on top of them. I like to move my feet and legs around on the longer rides, and its nice to have options.

Thank you for the responses. Any chance you could post a pic of your pegs so I can visualise what you mean as to where they are on the crash bars for where your heel rests on the board and yor foot on the pegs ?
Unfortunately until now I can't fit them 'where is comfortable for me' as I have never had them and don't have any idea as to where I would fit them when brake/gear shifts get in the way

I have mine mounted just above the up-sweep bend on the engine guard with the short angled highway mounts with streamliner pegs. Perfect for heel (footboard) and toes (pegs) ............

Am on business travel through the Baltic area of Europe the next few days so popped into the local dealer here in Latvia and looked at the pegs that you guys have recommended on bikes on the shop floor. Looks like I will be ordering some of them when I get back to Prague at the weekend.
Many thanks for taking the time

'09 Ultra here. Here's the link I have pegs on my bike. The most comfortable I've ever owned and appreciated on any type of trips, Short or Long that puts smile on my face.
