Cleaning Street Glide Enforcer Wheels
What's the best way to tackle this job? I bought diamond bright aluminum polish cleaner and scrubbed a section of bare aluminum, but got a crap load of white on the black part of rim. Now I cant get the white off the black part. Is there a product i can use that will not mess up the black part of wheel also?
I wish these were clear coated.

put some wd40 on the wheels and useing a soft brush wash them with the wd 40. after that use dawn dish soap and wash again useing that same brush. i just wipe my wheels down with turtle wax ice and let it dry and then wipe again. seems to work well. hard part gonna be getting that white crap off. you may have to do it a couple of times.

Try HD's Engine Brightener. I use it on the black, crinkly finish on my engine and it works really well! Makes anything with that finish (very similar to those wheels I believe) come up like brand new.
I'd clean the wheels with a good wheel cleaner (I like AutoGlym's Custom Wheel Cleaner) to remove the road grime and brake dust, polish the silvery bits if you must, then apply the Engine Brightener.
