I wear them but i can't get past the group Y.M.C.A. I always threaten my wife thati'm going to just wearthose and chase her around the yard,I think she's worried I might. The funnier thing is the look on my 20+ year old son's faceswhen I tellthem I did do that.By the way, I have not.

GA can actually make a pair of chaps the most unfruity thing you will ever see. But she is right, between the Village People and the whole S+M scene, they have a weird connotation on guys. I guess it has something to do with the fact that they "frame" the "franks and beans" and the tookus... On a lady with a nice heinie? Excellent! On a curmudgeon? Not so much...
I wear em in the winter, but mine have finally gotten scuffed up, and look like what they are, a piece of protective clothing... but I still take em off as soon as I get off the bike.
