I wonder why it is that Harley riders are pretty much the only riders that wear chaps, the fingerless gloves, chain wallets, etc.
If chaps are so necessary, how come you rarely ever never see a guy on a Goldwing, BMW, MotoGuzzi, etc, wear them?
It's the Harley image thing again. That's what it is.

humm, well i saw David Lee Roth back in the 80's wear chaps with male G-String undies....

I own , raise , ride horses . use them to herd cattle and goats....
I don't own any western chaps either , and nobody I ride with. Not much use for them nless your inTexas , its all about looks.
Ifpeople really need protection , they need to get some leather diapers , that way your *** is covered while it slides on down the blacktop

When I bought my first bike, I asked the dealer if he thought the color would go well with my white chaps. There were a few seconds of silence before he realized that I was joking.

They make my azz look fat.
I could give a rats azz what people think. When it's cold, I wear chaps. When it is really cold I wear my carhartts. When it is really really cold, I drive a car.
