Default Motorcycle boots

What brand of motorcycle boots are comfortable enough to walk in, say, all afternoon at a rally without getting sore feet!

I have Milwaukee brand that I love and can "walk" for hours in them.
I paid $100 for them.

I bought a pair of Harley boots for $200 and ended up throwing them in the trash after they sat around in the garage for 2 years.

The best boots I've ever had were "lineman's" boots that I had issued in the military.
The were a bitch to break in but once broken I could wear them for miles.

Find a store that sells good quality work boots and try on as many as possible and walk around in them as much as possible. Most of the "riding" boots out there are built around the image and not comfort. My preference is Danner. I wear the same boots for work and riding.

+1 I've had a pair of Milwaukee's for about a year, very good quality, comfortable, best $100 I every spent. You need to order a half size smaller than you usually wear, I wear a 10 which I returned & re-ordered a 9.5 which fit fine.

As much as I like pull up boots, I chose tie instead. Pull up seem to get loose, where tie boots can be made tighter. And a softer sole might help if you plan on walking a lot.

My Harley Davidson Lynx are very comfortable for walking, and waterproof. In hot weather I wear Red Wing boots. I put Snow Seal on them, so they are water resistant, but breath.

I wear Lynco 405 orthotic insoles. They are very comfortable if you have high, rigid arches. If you want to find out which orthotic is right for you:

Default Comfortable Boots

One of the big points with me is if they can be resoled. I had a cheap pair of boots that were extremely comfortable but the sole came loose while on a multi-day trip. I tried glueing the sole back together but they just wouldn't stay together again.
The next pair I bought were Redwings that can be resoled and were comfortable from the first time I put them on. They had to be ordered from a Redwing store, but they fit perfectly and I have never had a problem even after wearing them for days. I just feel like I'm throwing money away when I buy cheap boots with a limited lifespan.

The Danner Tactical line-up works for me. Good tough boots but feel almost like tennis shoes. Laces up the front/Zippers up the sides.
