Default On my way to Sec of State

Well, I passed the safety course and am now about to go to Sec of State and take the written test. Wish me luck.

Say what you want about Illinois, but after passing the safety course here, you receive your license. Good luck.

Wow!

You have to ask the sec of state for a license, sure glad I don't live in MI...

We just run over to the DPS here and take a test.

Of course I am just poking fun at you.

Good luck and ride safe.

Oh! and remember to turn your head at intersections when taking your driving test, if the tester does not see you turn your head, he will assume you did not look both ways.

Secretary of State = DMV

The written test is easy. It's the SoS administered "road" test that's inconsistent. OP probably took an MSF course which waives the road test portion.

Ok, sorry, yes Secretary of State is our equivalent to the DMV. Yes, I took a safety course that waived the need for a road test at Sec of State. Just had to take the written.

And I passed, now some minor repairs on Dad's Harley and I can find an empty lot and practice, practice, practice.
