Default Helmet

I'm looking for a reasonably priced black fullface helmet. Want something that looks good on my streetglide. What do you recommend

Biltwell Gringo in flat black. They also have a version with a flip visor. And another cool color is their "primer" red.

I was actually considering that helmet. It looks pretty old school. Does the Bitwell give you mushroom head?

Not really and I'm a fairly slim dude. The mushroom head issue is more prevalent with 3/4 and 1/2 helmets since you wind up looking like The Great Gazoo. Biltwell's 3/4 helmet does just that but the Gringo is good to go, IMO. If you decide to pick up a 3/4 or 1/2 helmet then check out the Lick's NovDot. I would also consider trying one on first if you're planning on purchasing online to avoid sales tax. I've tried a few on at a local shop and they seem to fit pretty true to size. I'm usually a medium and it fits good.

HJC. They make helmets for HD. Good quality, good price.

Thank you starforbrian. I bought that smallest beanie helmet from biker helmet.com and it's awesome. Just wanting a fullface and I will check out the Gringo

Depending on what size you'll need SBTG is closing out the Bell Star Solid color helmets, $290 is a great price for a premium helmet, I frequently wear a Bell Star Carbon matte black <$650> and they're a very well made helmet, they're designed for high speed riding so there's no wind howl or vibrations and they fit my head very well. Another nice thing is you can add a Transitions Photochromic face shield, I love mine on my Star Carbon, no need to carry a spare shield.

My size is already sold out or I'd have already ordered a solid black to add to my gear

The Scorpion is a good bang for the buck.
