Default Off brand chopper ID-need help

Just picked this up pretty reasonable. No markings, and getting the title tomorrow. Just curious if anyone recognizes the manufacturer. The motor is as strong as anything I've ever rode but the frame geometry sucks. It's kinda like steering a cabover pete from outside the truck, holding onto the tire. Good fun in a straight line though. I've got a frame table and plans to make it right soon... and a seat and back fender as well...

I'm not sure what make it is, but it looks nice. I wouldn't want to slide off that seat onto the rear tire while riding.

How do you get a title with no markings? The 17 digit VIN will tell you who the manufacturer is.
In Ca, that would be known as a SPCNS or "special construction". CHP will apply a VIN if it doesn't have one.

it is marked on the title, I just haven't picked it up yet and was curious. I'm going to get it shortly. I'd like to contact ultima as well and find out what motor that is.

really I bought it for the drive train. I've rode it and it's a monster.was just curious if the frame looked familiar to anyone. it does have a VIN number and I'm sure the name is on the title but I was bored at work and curious. ..

Couple fast questions , is the motor mounted offset to one side of the bikes centerline in the frame ? Or does the front wheel sit centered or offset in the forks when you look at it head on ? Dealt with a lot of those kit choppers and those 2 items are how some of the cheaper builders got around dealing the wider rear tire setup and the handling suffered big for it as the torque effect was off center, alway felt like you had to sit off or lean to one side to balance things.

That looks like a bike called the "Black Cloud." Its made by ULTIMA. Heres a link to it. http://www.choppersurplus.com/bikeki...lackcloud.html If I remember correctly those kits came with a 113 ci with the option to upgrade to a 127ci depending on what year it is.

Not sure about the offset TwiZted, rode it home last night, needs work for sure. The trail in it has to bee way off...
HDMoparBoy, I believe you are right. Dead on twin to this one. Same wheels controls ect. Must have been upgraded as well, peels my hands off the bars goin into 3rd gear. Made me giggle a bit I think too. Gonna be a fun project!
