Default So Cal ride info needed

Gonna be riding 2up on Saturday and looking for a decent route from Murrieta, looking to go about 150 miles round trip, give or take. First time riding together so don't wanna push her comfort level as we are riding an fxdx. Any suggestions welcome.

Ride the 79 then make a right on the 78 then north on the 15 back home. Nice ride not too many twisties but there are a couple tight 20mph turns. See a lot of people ride 2 up. You could also continue on into Julian if you want to straight shot once you get on the 79 then make a left onto the 78 and head up the hill into Julian. Grab a bit to eat some amazing apple pie up there and ride back very doable in a day. Hope that helps

Another way to go is take the 79 North, Winchester Rd., to Hemet. East on the 74 to the 371W to Anza and Aguanga. West on the 79 to Temecula.

Plenty of sights and places to stop and take your ease.

Hwy 74 to Antonio Blvd, turn right.
Right on Santa Margarita Blvd, left on Plano Trabuco. Follow this road (Live Oak) past O'Neil Park, until you get to Cook's Corner. Stop and have a beverage.
Then take Silverado Canyon Road up to Jamboree Rd.
From there you could go south on Jamboree to the beach, or go back and take the Toll Road to the 91... or wherever.

15S to the 78W. 78W to the 5N. 5N to the 76E. 76E to 15N. 15N to home. Lots of good riding here. After the comfort level rises, you could try Palomar Mountain. In the cooler months, Palm Springs or a ride around the Salton sea.

On a Saturday - PCH tends to be lots of stop and go - especially since it's supposed to be nice this weekend and the beaches will likely be full.

I would vote for Mt Palomar or Julian (hit the Hideout in Santa Ysabel)

79 to S2/S22 to Borrego Springs and back. Nice ride, lots of slow twisties. You can ride your own ride and not usually have to worry about a lot of traffic.
