Angry Advice on dealership trying to charge me for labor on warranty work?

Took bike in cause was hearing noise in the bottom end. Turned out to be beating shot so...... 3,750.00$ Later and 2 and a half months later I get a call stating good & bad news blew head gasket before can even test ride!!! Wtf??? 400miles later another blown head gasket and about 700 more miles guess what head gasket blown again all under warranty so far 1200 miles later the compression release starts to strip out threads then blows out of head completely. They say bring up to shop again they try to retap it and the new threads blow out the side of head!!! That was there fix???? Permanently leaking now mean while this bottom end noise has re appeared from bottom end they say bring it back up 100miles 1 way = 200 miles per trip x maybe 8-10 trips =600$ gas bill going back and forth!!!! after finding metal shavings in the oil on crankshaft sensor they tear motor down with weeks gone by no call from them to have them tell me I owe all cost for labor!! Unbelievable all this in 10 months time and have only had a rude able bike about 3 months of the 10 pretty sure I didn't consent to the tear down or sign any work order to tear apart and tell me to pay for labor!!! Help!!! Opions please!!!! Need some advice

Take it to another dealership. With warranty only out of pocket should be $50.00. Better yet, find a good Indy.

I am confused, how can they charge you anything for warranty work? Isn't that the definition of warranty, it is covered by the dealership.

Your bike has been a lemon from the get go, and you need to go back to the dealership. I know you signed a lemon law document and they need to get you another bike. 3 our 10 month on the road....yeah not your fault.

Contact the Bureau of Automotive Repair. The rules for Teardown, Inspect, Report and Reassemble are very specific. If they didn't follow them they are obligated to reassemble it using new gaskets and seals at no charge. Also, since there is a warranty performance issue, they will look into that too. Is this Vacaville ?

It is my understanding on warranty work the Motor Company should be paying the dealership costs for labor. If that is the case this dealer maybe trying to collect from you and the Motor Company. I'd find another dealer.

What kind of warranty is on the 99 Dyna that you own? Aftermarket warranty company, parts warranty? Did the dealership that is doing the work now do the modifications to your bike?

sounds like he had a motor rebuild then the rebuilt motor has had nothing but issues....am I close. Could be touchy subject.

What was the warranty on the overhaul? Go talk to the service manager, get an lawyer...jump up and down on the service counter while screaming profanities.

If it's the '99 Dyna, this is one reason why dealers won't work on older bikes.
