Default ABS FatBoy

I have a 2014 fat-boy that I built into a trike last summer using a Frankenstein trike kit. Now the ABS brake on the back is giving me a issue. I would like to turn off / disconnect the ABS on the back only, does anyone know how?

NOW before everyone jumps on the ABS band wagon and starts telling me that they work great and no one should ever turn them off... Please save the lectures!

The trike I built has 10 inch wide wheels...ABS is a system that above all prevents locking up your wheel and going into a skid. I do not think there is anyway in hell one disk brake has the holding power to lock up these tires. back.

is it possible to turn off the back and keep the front ABS working? and how would I do that.

My Fatboy has ABS. I'm not certain, but if I were to get rid of it, I'd run the lines directly from the master cylinder to the brake calipers. That bypasses the ABS. The next step would be to disable it in the ECM.

The dealer should be able to do it. Probably the only way.

The other option is a Thundermax tuner which replaces the factory ECM. That is for sure a drastic measure but it would work.

It will definitely work, but the ABS light will probably stay lit because there isn't any pressure in the ABS motor. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.
