Nice shot... I could probably coordinate that shot myself as I am quite adept at fumbling with my I-pod on the road! Seriously though, nice shot! Spring is here!

It wasn't that strong really. I took it from a helicopter while I hung upside down from the skids justback and to the rearof the biker.
Worst part was I had to hold the camera upside down, so the shot would be right side up.
All this and watching to make sure the shadow of the chopper wasn't in theshot and the rotors didn't kick up to much dust.
A regular guy would never have been able to do it.

Great picture. I love mirror pictures, but everytime I try them while riding, I usually get my sholder in the frame. I loved the old SLR cameras that had to be manually focused, I took alot of mirror pictures with them. (set the subject bike by a palm tree and place my bike mirror with the subject in the mirror and focused on the image) I also like taking pictures thru a window frame with part of the inside walls showing.

Thanks for all the kind words.
Not to worry about me being in control of my ride.
First, I got a strap device to go around my neck so, I could drop it if I had to grab the bars in a hurry.
Second, I told the rest of the group what was coming up the last time we stopped.
Third, I practiced riding no hands with the cruise on for probably a couple of hundred miles. Safe clear roads, I know well, with little or no other traffic, no laneways and real good visibility.
Fourth, you don't need to look through the viewfinder on a digital camera.
And finally, this is the real reason, I got such a great shot. I took a pile of shots, picked the best one and then cropped it for the best effect.
