Which pipes and why?

RE: Which pipes and why?
Slipons suck because the stock exhaust setup is a pile O garbage. I learned how crummy they were when I removed them to install, Pythons. Pythons are LOUD but they are an excellent balance between price, power and performance. They have a built-in crossover for low-end torque. The heat shields show the weld bumps but few people care.

So in regards to this post, can someone tell us what the difference is between the Vance and Hines Straightshot Slip ons versus the Screamn Eagle slip-ons? Basically, Id like to know which one is louder or has more rumble. My guess is V&H is louder but Im not sure. On a 1-10 scale of loudness, I guess Im looking for a 3-4. Louder than stock and more rumble but not deafing. Im already half deaf....lol.

I have the V&H straight shots full system on my Heritage and my brother has the SE II's on his Dyna Wide Glide. I have yet to set off a car alarm with my setup like he has. The SE II's are not as loud but has a lower exhaust note than the straight shots.

I also have Vance & Hines Straightshots , and I love them . They have a real nice sound to them ,and if you want it really loud just take out the baffles by removing a set screw. I think Vance & Hines make a very high quality exhaust ,very good fit and finish.
