We are contemplating going out early this year maybe sponsor a ride. Just wondering if anyone else is going out early? The actual rally starts Monday August 3rd and we were thinking of maybe arriving on Wednesday the 29th. Who's coming with us?

Be there Tuesday the 28th and staying for at least ten days.

 

I've got a room from the 27th to the 30th and depending on weather I may camp for a few days after that. It only takes a day for me to get there, will leave on the 27th. What route will you be taking ?

 

Some friends and I are going out through that area for some riding July 16-19 and will be riding through that whole region. I will try to get a road report out for y'all when I get back in case there are any surprise construction zones or anything.

 

I'll be there on the 28th.

 

Leaving from Florida on 7/30 and plan on stopping in Tennessee. Will head out on Friday evening and plan on arriving in Sturgis on 8/2.

 

Think we'll be coming through Iowa again, Chicago traffic sucks. Thinking about organizing a ride, to Devils tower or Rushmore or some such.

I have hotel reservations but giving serious thought to cancelling them. It just burns me that the room rates skyrocket for a crap hotel that normally gets maybe $100 a night any other time of the year and then triples that rate for the rally. I guess I have been to many times already to get to excited anymore. My hellraising days are over and to many idgits riding drunk. Ok, sorry for the wet blanket post. Hope you all have a great time.
