...some cars can accomplish that...an old Alfa Romeo comes to mind (speaking from experience)

 

Perhaps convertables are the exception, like a bike with a windshield.

I didn't take up riding until I was 40 and have only been riding for the last 6 1/2 years, but man I'll tell ya, for me I don't think it's so much the bike as it is the ride. I get up every morning and the first thing I do is check the weather to see if it's a bike or truck day (Luckily living in Hawaii it is a bike day 90% of the time). I actually fight with myself internally on those days where it seems like it's a truck day and try to justify taking the bike even when the weather is bad. Love riding and wonder why it took me so long to start.
