Keeping goggles secured while riding on the highway
#21
1) Go back to a full face helmet.
2) If you continue to wear half helmets, buy cheap sunglasses and keep an extra pair on the bike.
When I used to wear a half helmet, I lost glasses. Anytime I looked down at highway speeds, glasses gone... Anytime I turned to look behind be at highway speeds, glasses gone... I started buying cheap glasses at bike fests and keeping an extra pair on the bike.
Only thing worse than loosing a pair of sunglasses is the instinct to try to grab them as they blow off. Not a good move at highway speeds.
For the last several years it is nothing but a full face or full face modular and I've gone back to Raybans and Maui Jims without worrying about losing them. Hell of a lot nicer looking through high quality polarized sunglasses.
