Well, the ol' raised fist of the 70's would look kinda goofy these days. Anybody else remember those?

RE: Low Hand Salute
I've had several people in vehicles low-wave at me... they are either riders, want to be riders, ( or riding!), just plain appreciate bikes, or *gasp* maybe, they are just being ( dare I say it) Friendly??!!!
Is there some obscure reason they shouldn't? What Difference does it make Who waves, How they wave, IF they wave, or from What they wave! Is Smiling when you ride not an option Either?Better start writing those tickets for being "Unseemingly Happy Whilst Riding & Sharing It" then....

I'm 43. Started riding mini-bikes at age 11. I give the low wave all the time. If only newbie give a wave then the reason for that is the others are too frickin' old to remove their hand from the bars.
The funny thing is sometimes I'll be in my car and see a bike coming and my first thought is to wave but the door is in the way!

that low wave is just another silly azzed harley image type thing. It's a pretty good way to identify a relative newcomer though.

Why does being friendly have to mean your a noob? Sometimes ppl that act like "Bad Azz Biker Doods" are the biggest posers of them all. Man just ride and feel the breeze..to hell with all the "I'm on my hog so gotta act bad azz" attitude. Some of the toughest mothers this side of hell that I have met, are the nicest guys there is. Just don't **** em off[sm=badbadbad.gif]
