Default Kuryakyn Swing Pegs, all defective

I can't believe it! I ordered a set of Kuryakyn pegs, the new ones that just came out called swing pegs. Pretty awesome idea IMO. However, when I received them I noticed pitting underneath the chrome and it was visible from far. I returned them to the retailer and asked to send anotherset without the defect. The retailer called and said that every set has the same problem. He also called Kuryakyn and they told them that all of their castings for that particular set are like that. Basically, they said tough and that's the way it is. This is a pair of freaggin' $120 pegs. What a bunch of mother*&#$s. I got my money back, but lost the shipping and PayPal fee.

Sounds like a retailer issue. Doesn't fit with my experiences with Kury.

From what I've read here and elsewhere, people's experience with Kuyakyn ranges from excellent to abysmal regarding product quality and customer service. I tend to stick with Harley chrome in general. Say what you will about the MoCo, they do nice chrome as a rule.

I wish HD would come up with great ideas like the swing peg...or the switchblade pegs. If they did I would rather buy from Harley.
