can yall give me your thoughts on stock 2 up seat vs aftermarket. I have an ultimate seat on my old bike and I LOVE it. But the stock seat was crap. I have never had a passenger on stocker but figured some of yall would have experience with both

 

I have a 2005. I can sit on the stock seat until I am too tired to ride. The pillion however is a killer for my wife. I add sheeps wool on her part to pad it a bit more. with that she is good for about 350 miles. After that, it just becomes too uncomfortable.

She spent about 9 hours in one day on it in Sturgis a few years ago and it was very uncomfortable for her by the end.

About 2-3 hours is max comfort range on a my stock dyna for my wife and she is used to sitting on a motorcycle.

 

When I had my Super Glide I put a Sundowner seat on it. Wife was happy and I could ride all day with it. Every butt is different.

I have a HD pillow top seat that I can ride all day on and have no pain. I haven't had a passenger so I can speak for passenger comfort.

 

I'm selling a sundowner seat off my super glide in the classifieds here on the forum. Hardly used, very comfy. Fits 06-later
