Would it be possible to cut down a standard windshield like what came on my old road king? That way I could still use the quick mount set up.

I like it, so I have started my own but I am having a hard time finding 1 1/2" bar clamps that will work. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. FOUND some Kuryakan clamps but not willing to pay $39 dollars for two clamps at least not yet!

 

Yea..wouldn't fit your bike, but "older" Dyna is wrong. Fits my buddy's 2014 FXDC just fine.

So here is my attempt! I am not a fan of windshields, I actually like the open feel and this is why the roadking and not a street glide. With that said we are riding to Daytona for bike week in March, rented a nice condo on the water and the guys I ride with say if your going to do it you have to ride. Have been looking for a shield but do not want to change position of my bars so I gave this a try and actually impressed myself. Total cost about $30.

 

Looks great. A real pro job. I hope this thread prompts more people, that have always thought about this, to make their own custom screens.
