Although we had two accidents, one with the bike and completely my own stupid fault and the second with the car when we were torpedoed on the city highway out of the blue by a huge SUV with our rental Hyundai. And the SUV speeded away after our collision and turn-over.
The first one with the bike I was injured and hospitalised and the second one with the car my wife was injured and hospitalised.
She is in 2016 after six months revalidation back on the pillion as my 'co pilot and weapon officer' and indeed, she is a little bit more concernded than before the two accidents. But she is convinced that crossing a street as a pedestrian can also be very tricky and dying in bed is a more common place for people than dying in an motorbike accident. She is careful but very realistic..Maybe that's the reason why I married here..

 

I can relate. My wife worries too. Like Fred08hd said, maybe limit riding to the weekends and use a cage to commute to work. Her worries are real to her.
