Went for a ride in the country today and came across this old station. Looks like it's been closed for a few years.

That station is sitting on route 135 in the little town of Florence, Missouri. I don't know what their population is but it's very small. Route 135 can be picked up off of Highway 50 just a few miles outside of Sedalia, Mo.

 

Great memories stopping at stations like that when they were open for a refill and coke

I love to see these old places too. If walls could talk, man what stories they could tell. It'd be cool if there was a picture of it when it was new.
