I am sitting In Smokin' Dave's BBQ in Lyons, CO having an ice cold Coors Light and a great plate of pulled pork with spicy BBQ sauce, smashed potatoes and slaw. It is 55 degrees out, had a great ride up here and now heading back.

No problem. It was a balmy 42 here in NY today and got in a nice ride as well.

I'd ride without chaps and jacket in mid-60's temps. Vest, hoodie and jeans would be sufficient for that here in Colorado, provided there is sun.

Finally, huh Phil? Yesterday I saw this yellow orb in the sky. Then I remembered, it's the sun. We've had 3 weeks of consecutive cold, wet and cloudy days. I'll be outside brushing the mud off the horses and taking all the dogs (twelve of them) for a run. They have cabin fever.

 

I used to live in Niwot. The Black Bear Inn in Lyons is one of my favorite restaurants. Great german food!

As far as weather, I will be in a tshirt riding all weekend. It will be 77 tomorrow and 80 on Sunday.
55 degrees here drives everyone indoors. .
