Apologies to our more Northern brothers

Boy I know it!!! And to think, I bought some heated glove liners at Christmas and haven't gotten to use them yet.

I had to fly to Florida Yesterday. See bikes all over down here and the weather is great ( by ND standards ). All day today weather alerts have been going off on my phone for the weather back home (blizzard). I just have to move south.

Wish we could ride, temps have warmed up to single digits, lows at night range from -10*to -30*, hard to breath nevermind ride. We live to close to the top of the states and the cold Northern air from Canada keeps us off the road, not to mention the 120" of annual snow fall. You fellow riders from the South should be getting at least 24,000 miles a year, we still get 15,000 miles.

Man, I had a great day. It was a little windy this afternoon, but the sun was out and I found a great little twisty right through the heart of Denver. (For those of you from Colorado-- Got on Platte Canyon Road up by 6th ave and road it all the way down to 285.)

We could ride on 2 wheels here in Anchorage today, if it wasn't for the ice on the side roads and the loose gravel everywhere. We use gravel instead of road salt up here, so until that's been washed off the roads, corners are nasty.
The temps, though? 41 DEGREES...in Alaska...in January. It's been a weird winter up here!
