to me this makes no sense. Plan on a road king, looking at a custom chopper instead???... Maybe if you said rocker this might make sense. Gotta think about what you want your bike to do. Do you want comfort, storage, long trek compatability or do you want a bar hopper. To me the bike you choose should reflect what you want to do with is, as opposed to how it looks sitting in your garage. Think about it, buy the road king and suddenly you and your wife might just plan nice weekend getaways and expand your horizons. Doubt that will happen with a chopper.

Very little suspension travel so goes w/o saying that you're going to have a stiff ride.

Only reason to get one imo is if looking cool is more important to you than riding comfort.

Can't imagine what that rear tire costs to replace.

OK well that was my first post atleast somone got the answer even if its little late. I am used to that so no big deal, does any one have like a five year old question I could answer???
