I got spokes, Not going to worry about it, Ride my Ride the way I want and if **** happens I will deal with it. Worry? a wasted emotion, don't waste your time on it and enjoy the ride.

No flats here, but I sure came close once. Maybe a year and a half ago on my Honda shadow (spokes). Nail through the outter part of the tread, and came out of the side wall. Only reason I pulled over was because I'd herd a new tink-tink-tink-tink-tink sound while riding, found the nail hitting the brake rod! Stupidly pulled it out on the side of the road.... And to my surprise... No air leak! Kept the nail and rode home! Still have the nail as a little momento, and all this happend pretty well in front of an HD dealership.

I had spoked wheels on my 09 Sportster 883 and got tired of the slow leaks and the spokes rusting literally overnight due to the salt air environment. Very frustrating so I switched out the spoked wheels for cast wheels with tubeless tires... much better (safer) and a more modern look.

I just bought a few bottles of RideOn tire sealant that I'm going to put in my tires,I've never had a flat but the thought of it makes me nervous even though I carry the plug kit(not sure if I could do the fix) and the HD compressor in my bag.

For myself, Its mags now. I used to be a fan of spokes. Two rides basically 500 miles from home and you guessed it a flat tire on the rear. Now we get to deal with a flat on the road. This cost me a day of prime riding, once in the middle of the Three Sisters and once in Arkansas. Now I carry a plugging kit and a small air compressor. The cruise control I cannot speak to, never had one. I do use the throttle lock. It helps relieve the cramping on long rides.

Found a nail in the rear tire once, but blame not loosing air on ride-on. Never had a flat though, and i'll never have wheels that need a tube anymore! A flat with one of them would mean i'm stranded and need somebody's help, where with tubeless, i'll through a plug in it in case the ride-on fails to seal the puncture, pump it up and i'm gone....

Had one flat in 220k-ish miles and the fix was no big deal.

I have cruise control on my SG and use the hell out of it on the long, straight shots.

My '08 Wide Glide came with premium spoke wheels, I ordered mag wheels before I even took delivery of the bike.

There's always a lot of construction in the Phoenix area. With nails and screws falling off the trucks, I've been stranded by torn tubes before. Now I always carry a plug kit and 12 volt air compressor.
