What pipes?

RE: What pipes?
Yeah, one of the reasons I went with the BSS was I could get them for a couple hundred less than Big Radius. I'd think you should be able to get BSS installed for less than $800 easy. I don't have a power commander, just a remap. The BSS are a good pipe with a reliable map, so you really don't need PC if the map is good.

BSS meaning Big Shot Staggered. You think they are that cheap installed? That would be sweet. The dealer told me I needed the race tuner(on a month wait), download, and air cleaner. Do I really need all these? On Vance and Hines site the stagered was only $70 cheaper than the Radius.

Big Shot Staggered are $574 at J&P so you should be able to get them for that or less. I think my dealer charged me $450 with initial discount (I had them put on before I even left the dealer). My dealer believes, and my performance backs up that putting a K&N filter in the stock air cleaner is just as good as replacing the whole thing. The replacement with SE gear or other can be spent better elsewhere given that the TC heads are the air passage problem and that my bike performs as good or better than any other Stage 1 bike I've ridden. So rough price:
BSS $550
K&N $40
Remap $100
Install $100.
so at most $800-$900 for the whole thing.
