Are you wearing a ski mask or are you a black dude?

 

I love riding in New Mexico, especially northern NM. I'm from San Antonio and usually ride the first day to Ruidoso, next day to Taos, going through Santa Fe or Las Vegas ( good place to eat in LV is Charlies Bakery and Cafe; in SF try Plaza Cafe on the Plaza). Stay in Taos and ride the Enchanted Circle through Questa, Red River, Eagle Nest, Angel Fire, etc. Unlike you, I don't care for that straight ride out of Tucumcari. Another cool ride in NM is between Silver City and Hillsboro and Silver City on up into northern Arizona. Of course, Colorado and Utah are fantastic. When you get back home take a break and enjoy the Hill Country. Ride safe.
