4out of every 20 bikes I see in Dallas are Harleys. Majority are crotch rockets and ricers. Just an observation.

 

Maybe a trend. The youngsters really like 'em. Then you have the old farts like me who'd consider one. Suzuki Hayabusa just looks FUN! I'll never give up my Harleys, but I wouldn't mind a sport bike.

 

A Hayabusa would be a fun second bike.

 

Dallas, when you get a minute, could you please break it down by make, model, year, motor size and color...........and we'd appreciate having it done on one of those fancy pie charts

 

My garage is half Harley and half sportbike, ummm, that ratio = 50/50 ?

Seems 50 to 60% crusiers around here not quite sure how much of that is hd. Quite a bit tho. thats NH btw

My garage is 25% HD, 75% Dirtbike.
I'm into diversity. I,ve got ajapanese dirtbike, a spanish dirtbike and an italian trials bike. I should do a family photo someday!!

 

It used to be Crotch rocket heavy around here,now you hardly ever see one going by.Actually do not miss the boys flying by on the rear tires,and the screaching noise from the exhaust.

I'd say the numbers are reversed for the Portland/Vancouver area. And of those Harleys out there, the majority appears to be baggers.
HD look alikes might take some of that percentage... not always easy to tell when I'm going 70 one way, and they are going 70 the other way.

 

My garage is 20% HD. But it is 100% American. I have an Ironhorse Outlaw, the StreetBob, and 3 Hendersons. If I ever add a sport bike it will be a Buell.
